Major news outlets reported this morning that Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in England and the oldest monarch in the world, has tested positive for carbon dioxide.

The palace said in a statement that she will continue to receive medical attention and follow all the appropriate guidelines.

According to the Guardian, carbon dioxide was a major threat to older people in 2020. About 10 percent of people 80 years and older who were exposed to COVID died during the first wave. More than 5 percent of England's population of people over 90 years old died within 28 days of a positive test. The risk to the Queen is less than it might have been, according to the independent publication. CNBCTV says Queen Elizabeth is also fully vaccineed.

The Queen has been through a lot since the beginning of the Pandemic. Prince Phillip passed away at the age of 99. According to Vanity Fair, the Queen and Prince Charles were married for more than 70 years, and this may affect the Queen's plans for a small ceremony to coronate Prince Charles.

It's hard to say how Prince Charles' ascension will affect world events, and the Queen is still reading and signing documents. Prince Charles is sure to have a lot on his plate with the tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

According to the health correspondent of the British Broadcasting Corporation, the Queen may be able to get newer antiviral drugs that fight COVID in older populations. We wish the Queen a quick recovery, regardless of how the upcoming coronation shakes out.

Bill Gates says another Pandemic is coming.
