A proposed Saudi-financed rival golf league took a big hit whenDustin Johnson said he was fully committed to stay with the PGA Tour.

A growing list of golf's top players have said they are not interested in taking part in the Super Golf League that Greg Norman and his LIV Golf Investments are trying to create.

Each of the top eight players in the world who have been asked now have indicated they don't plan to sign up for the Saudi-backed league.

Over the past few months, Johnson kept his intentions quiet, leading to speculation that he would join.

It is time to put the speculation to rest. He said that he is committed to the PGA Tour and that it has provided him and his family.
