Hannah Green
Former Women's PGA Championship winner Hannah Green carded a final round 66 to become the first woman to win the TPS Murray River event

Hannah Green made history by becoming the first woman to win a professional golf tournament in a mixed gender event.

The Australian world number 30 won by four strokes after carding a five-under-par final round.

Green was in a four-way tie for the lead with Andrew Evans and Matthew Millar.

The 25-year-old said that he doesn't normally have golf dreams.

I had one last night after I won.

It was just me holding the trophy and people spraying me with champagne. I woke hoping it was not a dream.

I feel great. I came because I wanted to play here, but it wasn't in my plans. I was going to return to Perth. I am glad I made it, but things happen for a reason.

The Players Series tournaments have men and women competing in the same field.

The previous best finish by a woman was Australian Su Oh.
