The 95-year-old monarch will continue with light duties at Windsor Castle over the next week.
The palace said in a statement that she will continue to receive medical attention and follow all the appropriate guidelines.
Prince Charles and his daughter-in-law are both contracted by Covid. Charles returned to work.
