The author Ram V and artist Christian Ward will be in the real-world location of Point Nemo in the three-issue Aquaman: Andromeda. The farthest point of the planet's oceans away from land is called Nemo, and he will have to go there to rescue a group of scientists. The crew of the Andromeda has just found a graveyard, and they are running on an experimental spaceship engine that is powered by a black hole.

According to Ram V, there is a new territory for the superhero. Much of the character's history has leaned into swords and sorcery, leaving science fiction and horror particularly unexplored wells. Those two genres are areas in which Ram V excelled, and he is excited to bring his expertise to Arthur Curry. He talked about how it was important to make sure that he and Ward were presenting a concept and idea that was fresh and new.

The Coral suit is a new outfit that comes in when you go to such unexplored waters. The creation process of the new threads was talked about by Ward. Ram's description of the book as a "mythical and ancient" version of Arthur helped narrow down the focus. Ward found a look he was very proud of, and he thanked DC for allowing him to do that.

This book sounds great. DC Black Label has had a good output of books as of late, with V and Ward being good writers. There is some scary shit deep underneath the ocean, and that is what the title of the upcoming movie, "Aquaman: Andromeda," sounds like.
