Cruise companies have agreed to participate in the CDC's voluntary Covid-19 for cruise ships operating in the U.S.

The CDC reported late on January 18 that one hundred and ten cruise ships from 18 cruise lines have joined the voluntary Covid-19 Program for Cruise Ships operating in U.S. waters.

Carnival Corp., Royal Caribbean Group both chose to participate.

Other brands that joined include Disney Cruise Line.

The CDC gave cruise lines until February 18 to tell them if they were participating in the program.

The CDC's Conditional Sailing Order expired in January.
