WEE1 Tactical said in a November press release that the JR-15 is smaller, safer, and lighter than a regular AR-15.

According to the press release, the child-oriented weapon is 20% smaller than a full-sized AR-15, but the manufacturer claims it works just like Mom and Dad's gun.

The WEE1 Tactical press release states that they believe that the introduction early on will produce a deep respect for firearms that will last a lifetime of safety.
