Many travelers may find it convenient that Delta has just announced three new long haul domestic flights to Hawaii. Delta will be launching three new routes to Hawaii in late 2022, out of Atlanta, Detroit and New York. These routes have been in operation in the past, but are expected to be year-round this time. Delta One, Comfort+, and Main Cabin will be available on all three routes. Let's look at the routes. Delta will begin daily nonstop flights between Atlanta and Maui on November 19, 2022. The schedule for the flight is as follows: The flight from Atlanta to Maui arrives at 4:00PM. The 4,431 mile flight is blocked for 10 and 15 minutes. Delta has an existing flight from Atlanta to Honolulu.
Delta will begin daily nonstop flights between Detroit and Honolulu on November 19, 2022. The schedule for the flight is as follows:
The Detroit to Honolulu flight arrives at 4:00PM.
Honolulu to Detroit arriving at 6:30AM.
The flight is blocked at 8hr45min in the west and 8hr30min in the east.
On December 17, 2022, Delta will begin daily nonstop flights between New York and Honolulu. The schedule for the flight is as follows:
The New York to Honolulu flight arrives at 3:35PM.
Honolulu to New York arrives at 7:25AM.
The flight is blocked at 11hr35min in the west and 9hr30min in the east. Hawaiian Airlines will be competing with Delta on this route.
It's great to see more long haul flights to Hawaii from the mainland because it's convenient for those from further east in the United States.
Hawaii flights are being added out of Atlanta, Detroit, and New York. The flights will be daily and year-round, so it will be useful for many Delta flyers.
