A sprinter who represented Ireland in the Olympics has been given a suspended sentence for allowing his flat to be used to produce crack cocaine.

At the Tokyo Olympics, he competed in the 200m.

Text messages showed that the cocaine was being produced in his flat and that he was paid 500 a month.
He was found not guilty of concealing criminal property and of three firearms charges.
The under-23 and under-20 European Championship medals that Reid won for Great Britain were switched to Ireland.
Three men were sentenced for their roles in the 2020 drugs operation.
