Kanye West Objects to Kim Kardashian's Divorce Petition

He made his objections known to the judge, and he is against Kim getting an order to divorce him.

Kim wants the judge to declare her single before the custody and property issues are resolved. That is scheduled to happen early next month, but now the lawyer for the man is objecting.

As for why? Kim might remarry and move some of their assets to her separate accounts, which is what the lawyer is worried about. If safeguards are in place, Kim can become a single stat.

Kim has rejected all of the 3 conditions that the lawyer says he wants, according to the lawyer.

1. He wants to make sure that any money that might be owing to either of them gets paid.

2. Kim is allowed to transfer assets out of any trust they created.

3. He wants Kim to give up their marital privilege. He wants to make sure that any communications between the 2 of them are included in the court record. He wants to make sure that any conversations between Kim and her new husband would be fair game in court.

There is a prenup that keeps all of their property separate, so it is not clear why there would be alarm on his part.

It is almost certain that the judge will restore Kim's single status next month.
