The New York Times reports that Donald Trump's upcoming social network, called Truth Social, is currently listed on the App Store with an expected launch date of February 21st.

According to the App Store, Truth Social looks like it will be similar to the popular social network, which was banned by Trump after the January 6th riots in the US Capitol. His first attempt at making a new platform was shut down in less than a month, but he will try again with Truth Social. The new app is being made by the Trump Media and Technology Group.

Truth Social has rolled out to about 500 beta testers

The app has already been rolled out to about 500 people, and it could be that the app is having some development troubles. The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the special purpose acquisition company that is planning to take the company public.

It appears that Trump is a Truth Social tester and has made his first post, though he can't share it on his own. Donald Trump Jr., who still has privileges on the social media site, posted a picture of Trump's first Truth Social post. Your favorite President will see you soon.

As of late Wednesday, Trump's Truth Social account had 317 followers. At the time he was banned, Trump had 88 million followers.

A request for comment about the app's launch date was not immediately responded to. You can join a waiting list on the Truth Social website if the app is not available on non-iOS platforms.
