It's a disappointment, but it's not too surprising given that there hasn't been any concrete information about the five shows coming to Disney+ or the other Disney-owned streaming service. Disney+ has all of the movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Fox X-Men films and F4nt4st4c F44r. Thanks to Charlie Cox's appearance as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, theNetflix series are in a murky continuity limbo with the MCU, which makes them more important to the viewers than dreck like the Inhumans TV series.
I expect Daredevil and the gang to come to Disney+ eventually, but what about the hold-up? I can think of a few possibilities.
If the shows were to be pulled, the series couldn't air on other streaming services for a specific period of time.
Disney could bring all five series to Disney+ if it wanted to, but is concentrating more on original content and can't deal with stuff that was co-created with other companies.
Disney could bring all six series to Disney+ in March, but they will not be available for a while to drive excitement.
The shows are in a weird legal situation where Disney can prevent Netflix from airing them, but they don't have to give them to Disney, and the two companies are arguing about the price for their release.
Disney has confirmed to us that March will be completely Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and the rest of the Defenders-less. We will have to wait and see.
