Best Samsung earbuds Android Central 2022

With its growing line of earbuds as a complement to its mobile devices, the company has been pushing its audio credentials. If you're looking for something other than the best earbuds on the market, there are other options.

The best wireless earbuds from the company to date are created by combining past features with new tweaks. There are several reasons why it worked out this time, and it took a while for the company to get to this level of performance. The design is very similar to the Buds and Buds+, but the larger frame means the fit won't be as snug right off the bat. They are small and lightweight, and the finish on the inside makes them easier to grip. The IPX7 rating makes these earbuds the most rugged that the company has made.

There is a lot of tech inside. You can keep noise out with two settings. Ambient mode now has four different settings. Voice Detect lowers the volume of the audio you are listening to and turns on Ambient mode once you start talking so you can converse without touching anything on the earbuds or your phone.

You can adjust the sound of the larger drivers in the app by selecting one of the six preset equalizers. It is a shame that you have no way to modify it or create your own preset. Call quality is better than ever, with great clarity. Regardless of whether you are on the phone or listening to music, you have to be careful with the touch controls. When you want to get virtual 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound watching shows and movies, it is a cool effect when you use the 360 Audio earbuds.

One sacrifice is battery life. It goes up to eight hours when ANC is off, and up to five hours when ANC is on. The case is good for three additional charges. You can charge up quickly for five minutes through the internet.

  • Excellent sound
  • Effective ANC
  • Rugged water and sweat resistance
  • Comfortable design
  • Spatial 360 Audio
  • Reliable microphone quality
  • Lower battery life than before
  • Finicky touch controls
  • Needs custom EQ

The finest from the company.

The extra features that make the Buds Pro easy to use was something that was done by SAMSUNG.

TheGalaxy Buds 2 aren't about going back to basics, but rather forging a strong tie between comfort and performance. That should be the metric for any pair of earbuds, but in this case it is a worthy combination. By shaving off 10% from the build, it was possible to find an equal balance between features and durability. If you plan to sweat a lot, you won't want these, but if it's all about leisure time, then you're fine.

Save for the fact that they feel small and nestle easily into your ear for a good fit, these are your standard earbuds. The idea is the same, which is to boost audio quality without going over the top. Even if the mids are somewhat restrained, they still sound crisp and clear.

Adding ANC and Ambient Sound brings two features you would expect from earbuds in this range. The ANC is close to what the Buds Pro are capable of. The onboard mics are not as efficient as the Pro models, and that is one reason why call quality is not at the same level.

It seems like a step back from the Buds+, but with all the tech inside, it is a decent result. Depending on volume levels, you can expect up to 7.5 hours with ANC off or five hours with it on. You can top up the charging case with either a wireless or ausb-c charge. White, olive, and lavender are some of the colors you can choose.

  • Bold sound
  • Effective ANC
  • Very comfortable fit
  • Good battery life
  • Nice color options
  • IPX2 rating isn't very durable
  • Microphones are so-so
  • Finicky controls

All about balance.

The latest entry-level true wireless earbuds from the company focus on a solid combo of performance and comfort.

Mentioning the unique design of the Buds Live is necessary. The bean-shaped earbuds are designed to fit as many ears as possible. Engineers cut the driver out of the car and let the earbud rest over the ear to pull it off. Because there is nothing in the ear canal, wearing them for longer periods of time reduces fatigue and makes them less uncomfortable.

The open fit of these earbuds makes it hard to block out ambient noise. It isn't going to be as effective as the Buds Pro are. Buds Live can't offer an ear tip that plugs into the canal.

That is one of the reasons why they were equipped with 12mm drivers. They give you better clarity and bass than you might think. Should you need to adjust the sound in the Wearable app, you have some flexibility. Call quality is excellent because of the onboard microphones.

When ANC is on, the battery life goes up to eight hours. The small case supports both wireless and wireless charging. You also have mystic black and white, which is nice.

  • One-size-fits-all design
  • Compact and well-built case
  • 12mm drivers kick out great audio
  • Long-lasting battery life
  • Extremely useful companion app
  • Supports Qi wireless charging
  • Touch controls can be finicky
  • ANC isn't the best
  • Certain features exclusive to Samsung phones

You may still be able to find a pair of the Buds+ even though they are no longer available from SAMSUNG. If you're looking for a logo for a budget, they could work well.

Being the most comfortable of the lot may be retained by them. The form factor of the original Galaxy Buds was retained, but they were improved in several ways to make them viable up to now. They lack ANC support, but passive noise isolation is great, with a lightweight fit. The audio quality stood out, with call quality showing a dramatic improvement from their predecessors. The app still supports all the features, including the Ambient mode.

They play up to 11 hours per charge, depending on the volume level. There is an additional charge inside the case that will double the total to 22 hours. You can charge via wireless charging for convenience. If budget is a factor, and you want a more traditional design, theGalaxy Buds+ check off both of those boxes.

  • Great sound quality
  • Comfy and secure fit
  • Improved call quality
  • Up to 11 hours of continuous use
  • Sleek, compact case
  • USB-C and Qi wireless charging
  • Glossy case finish doesn't look amazing
  • No ANC support

It's comfortingly effective.

The type-C Earbuds fit the bill for those on tight budgets who are willing to keep wires around. It is hard to argue with what you are paying for when you are not looking at the flashiest or most exciting pair. Every time you play tunes on them, they prove their worth.

If your phone doesn't have a headphone jack, they connect to your phone using theusb-c, which is great if you have wired earbuds. The separate left and right channels come out 10 times better than a traditional 3.5mm jack connection, according to the company. The real benefit is the high-quality DAC that makes the earbuds sound better than you would expect.

The braided cable design made them lighter to hold and less prone to tangling when stored away. The in-line controls are easy to find and responsive when you want to adjust volume or play a song without having to reach for your phone.

  • Fantastic price for tight budgets
  • Connects via USB-C
  • Lightweight
  • Good sound for the price
  • In-line controls
  • Not as convenient as wireless earbuds

The Y 100 earbuds don't have the branding of the company, but they are still part of the audio engineering for its products. These earbuds are a product of the same company.

The all-around wireless earbuds from AKG are a great price. They are available in multiple colors. Sound quality is good, with up to eight hours of battery life per charge. You can squeeze out about an hour of juice if you plug in for 15 minutes. It is unfortunate that you will have to do it using Micro-USB.

One cool feature of the Y 100 is that it can pair with two devices at the same time and switch between them based on what you are doing. This is something a lot of earbuds don't come with, so we're thrilled it's included on the Y 100.

  • Available in a few fun colors
  • Design is comfortable and durable
  • Can be paired with two devices at once
  • Up to eight hours of battery life
  • Fast charging speeds
"> AKG Y100

There is a nice balance of features and price.

Right in the middle of everything is the AKG Y 100, a design that is not too expensive.

The best earbuds are getting better at offering something for everyone. If we had to pick only one, it would be the Buds Pro from theSamsung, because they cover so many bases the others don't.

The company chose to improve upon existing features, while also trying to make the Buds Pro as good as they can be. They want to fit into an everyday lifestyle and have a functional balance of feeling comfortable, sounding great, and being dynamic. With solid app support, there is at least some customization to make them better.

The market for the best wireless earbuds is getting pretty crowded these days, and with the Buds Pro, SAMSUNG was able to reach the top through solid craftsmanship. We don't think you will be disappointed, so give them a shot.
