The Swedish musician and artificial intelligence enthusiast known as Supercomposite used an artificial intelligence to create hundreds of spooky new tarot cards, and has been using them on the internet for days.
The artist is using an artificial intelligence called Looking Glass. Some cards have humanoid characters with holes for faces, some feature monstrous-looking creatures in bloody shades of red, and some are frightening because they seem like tarot cards at first glance.
The cards don't exist in real life, but Supercomposite has been naming each of them and giving the best results in a long thread that started earlier this month. The haunting images aren't perfect recreations of any one object and could be interpreted many different ways, but it seems the artist is just trying to decipher what might appear in each of the cards.
I generated 500 of them and I will post the best in this thread.
The King of Bones is an amazing entry.
Fans were excited about the novel cards and their spiritual applications.
One user commented that using artificial intelligence for divinatory purposes makes perfect sense.
Modern Witch Tarot and Tattoo Tarot are new decks that tarot practitioners use to seek and add meaning to their lives. Readers can connect with art and spiritual messages that feel more personal and useful with unique tarot decks.
An artificial intelligence tarot deck might be a good idea for enthusiasts of the medium.
The same artificial intelligence has been used to create tons of other art pieces.
