Bruschi explains why McDaniels will be a success in Las Vegas (2:21)

Tedy Bruschi, Randy Moss and Rex Ryan are all reacting to the news of Josh McDaniels becoming the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The song is called "2:21."

According to sources, the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Josh McDaniels as their new head coach and Dave Ziegler as their new general manager.

Sources said that the Raiders and McDaniels are close to a deal.

Mike Mayock was fired earlier this month as the director of player personnel. He was interviewing with the Raiders in January.

The Raiders interviewed for their head-coaching job on Saturday, and the man who was the head coach of the Denver Broncos for two seasons was interviewed as well.

The head coach of the Raiders resigned after it was reported that he wrote racist, misogynistic and anti-gay emails before he was hired. The Raiders made the playoffs for only the second time in 19 seasons after Rich Bisaccia was promoted to interim coach.

In his two seasons with the Broncos, he was 11-17. He was fired after the Broncos started to lose. The Broncos went 5-17 over the final 22 games of the tenure of Josh McDaniels.

He decided not to take the Indianapolis Colts head-coaching job. The Colts were surprised and disappointed by the decision to not hire Josh McDaniels. Frank Reich was hired to fill that position.

The longest-tenured offensive coach with the same team in the NFL was with New England, and that was the position he had held since 2012.

He has played in New England for 18 of his 21 NFL seasons. The St. Louis Rams hired him as their offensive coach in 2011.

Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Revolution, compared his friend and current University of Alabama coach, Nick Saban, to the responsibilities of every player on the field, when he paid a compliment to him.

Mac Jones was helped by a key role played by McDaniels.

In recent years, he has said that he wanted to become a head coach again, but he was alsochoosy about what opportunities would appeal to him. Being able to work with a personnel chief that he knows well is a key factor.

He was hired by the Broncos in 2010 as their first personnel job. The two were teammates on the football team at John Carroll University.

After three seasons in Denver, Ziegler moved to New England. He was the assistant director of player personnel before he was the director of player personnel.

Over the course of the season, the personnel staff was led by Ziegler, who was noted multiple times by the head coach.

Scouting consultant Eliot Wolf, who interviewed for multiple GM openings this year, is a candidate to fill the void that was left by Ziegler.

The report was contributed to by Mike Reiss.
