WWE is truly lost

This is like the one event that everyone enjoys, and whatever one's feelings are on WWE, and believe me, I got 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 888-349-8884 You can see everyone. Throw in some surprise entrants, a couple legends, give some people some cool spots, provide at least one winner, and you're there. It is a simple formula. Outside of the two Rumbles, you only need one or two good title matches to make it a great night. It is as simple as can be.

You wonder if someone shouldn't be holding a mirror up to his nose if they're giving a middle finger while their CEO is being checked out.

They messed up the event. I am still in disbelief twelve hours later.

They fell after starting well. It was an interesting call, and probably clued everyone into some goofiness that would allow one to reappear later in the night. That's fine. As Rollns entered through the crowd to the old SHIELD theme, the story behind the match was deepened and color was added. Roman's run has always been built to cover for the fact that he has never been able to do it on his own. It was a great play by Rollins on that.

In a vacuum, a disqualification finish in the match where Roman was pushed over the edge bySeth makes sense and would be a good story beat because he knows that he is right about everything. Every week on both of their shows, they run four to six stupid or screwy finishes. You can drown fans in something for a long time, week after week, and then think they're going to like it.

It was as good as it got the rest of the night.

If I have to be fair in New York, and I really don't want to be, I will say that their options for big women's Rumble returns were limited. None of them were physically ready, but an appearance from any or all of them would have been great.

Their big surprise was to unleash the athlete, who proceeded to perform with all the energy and flair of a person looking for antacid. She could have worn a big electric sign around her neck that said, "I'm just here for my check."

Even though Vince McMahon has made him obscenely wealthy and famous, he can still be attracted to any name that might appeal to fans. When she first joined the company, she seemed to be enjoying herself and her matches looked different than most others. She bitched once it got difficult for her, she moaned, she lost, and she fucked off. Fans turned on her when she couldn't display any other gear, and Lynch ethered her on the mic.

The initial shock of seeing her return from the crowd was confusing, but it wasn't something fans wanted. She is going to feud with Charlotte, which is something fans want even less of.

It isn't really concerned with what fans want. It shows you how much it doesn't want to give fans what they want. During the women's Rumble, they were on the verge of providing a touching moment when Sarah and Liv were about to meet in the middle of the ring. The crowd was loud at the thought of the reunion. They were both attacked from behind. It would not have hurt anyone to see these two teams play again. It would have continued the buzz Morgan has created. We can be shitbirds, why do that?

The rest of the card wasn't any better. After another screwy finish with Roman Reigns interfering, Bobby Lashley won. It's not clear what that does for Lashley, but if WWE doesn't care you shouldn't either. The Wrestlemania sign catching fire, as well as the beer fart of the women's match, caused Lynch and Doudrop to suffer. The tag was mixed.

The men's rumble happened. That is it. It happened. They did not use it to give someone a new look. There were no memorable spots. The only guy who got a clearout spot in the middle was Omos, and he moves like a dinosaur. The match started with a reminder of the feud that WWE fucked up four years ago and neither has really recovered from. They had to tell these two to run their Wrestle Kingdom match over again. That is all anyone wanted. That was too easy.

Bork came in last and won it all. Proving once again, that the only thing that will make a difference in the show is if Reigns is in, and the rest can just hang out by the dumpster. Kevin Owens was eliminated by McMahon. Thank you for turning down AEW. Johnny was given five seconds. Bad Bunny was the biggest spot. They were not interested in making a new star or forwarding any other story other than their own.

It was hard to comprehend. It's hard to ignore that the biggest show of the year will feature two part-timers like Brock and Brocky, while AEW gives you Bryan Danielson and Hangman Page for an hour on free TV.

What will be the catalyst for change? No matter how the ratings go, their billion-dollar TV contracts are locked in. The shareholders are happy that they can release wrestlers with no consequences. They will sell around 150,000 tickets to the two nights of Mania. It is too entrenched. They will sell the company for several billion dollars.

It's obvious when something is not moving. It was a sign that was on fire.
