Bruschi explains why McDaniels will be a success in Las Vegas (2:21)

Tedi Bruschi, Randy Moss and Rex Ryan are all reacting to the news of Josh McDaniels becoming the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The song is called "2:21."

According to sources, the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Josh McDaniels as their new head coach and Dave Ziegler as their new general manager.

Sources said that the Raiders and McDaniels are close to a deal.

Mike Mayock was fired earlier this month as the director of player personnel. He was interviewed by the Raiders.

The head coach of the Denver Broncos for two seasons, Josh McDaniels, interviewed for the Raiders head coaching job on Saturday.

The head coach of the Raiders resigned after it was reported that he wrote racist, misogynistic and anti-gay emails over a 10-year period. The Raiders made it to the playoffs after Rich Bisaccia was promoted to interim coach.

In his two seasons with the Broncos, he was 11-17. He was fired after the Broncos started to lose. He went 5-17 over his final 22 games.

He was hired by the Broncos in 2010 as their first personnel job. The two were teammates on the football team at John Carroll University.

After three seasons in Denver, Ziegler moved to New England. He was the assistant director of player personnel before he was the director of player personnel.

Over the course of the season, the personnel staff was led by Ziegler, who was noted multiple times by the head coach.

Scouting consultant Eliot Wolf, who interviewed for multiple GM openings this year, is a candidate to fill the void that was left by Ziegler.

The report was contributed to by Mike Reiss.
