Neil Young requested his music be removed from the platform over COVID-19 vaccine misinformation, and the shares of Spotify were down by 12% the week after.

The data showed a 12% decline on Friday, January 28.

Young demanded that his music be removed because of misinformation promoted by Joe Rogan.

They can have either Joe or Young. Young wrote on Monday that they weren't both. Most of his music was removed by Wednesday.

According to a letter posted on his website on Wednesday,Spotify has become a very damaging force due to its public misinformation and lies.

On Friday, Mitchell said she would remove her music from the service in support of Young.

In a post on Friday, Young said he felt better when he left.

The statement came after an episode where Rogan talked to a scientist who claimed Americans were being hypnotized by mass formation psychosis.

There is no evidence for the claims made by Malone.

More than 200 doctors, nurses, scientists, and educators have signed an open letter calling on the streaming service to stop the spread of misinformation.

On Friday, leaked internal messages showed that Dustee Jenkins, the head of global communications and public relations, told concerned employees that the company had found out that Rogan had cheated.
