Without announcing plans to run in 2024, Trump said Republicans would be taking back 'that beautiful, beautiful house that happens to be white'

Despite not formally announcing his candidacy, former President Donald Trump strongly hints at a presidential re-election bid during his Save America Rally on Saturday night in Texas.

We are going to take back the white house that we all love in 2024. During his speech, Trump said that they were going to take back the White House.

During the rally, the former president took jabs at Democratic leadership and stuck to his usual talking points about immigration and COVID-19, which he read from prompters and prepared comments.

If Trump decides to run, he will face an uphill battle to become the Republican presidential nominee.

If the presidential election were held today, 42% of adults nationwide would support President Joe Biden, while 32% would vote for Donald Trump, according to a recent poll by the law school. In a hypothetical race against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Biden was slightly worse off.

Asa Hutchinson, the Republican chairman of the National Governors Association, said on Saturday that he doesn't think Trump should lead the country. Hutchinson said Republicans should consider different voices within their party.
