The car of Missouri's first black congresswoman was hit by bullets while it was parked in St. Louis. The politician continues to get a lot of support from the community despite the fact that she was not the intended target of the gunplay.
Cori Bush was not in the car when it was shot up, but she is still shaken.

The progressive drew attention to a larger issue by steering the conversation from herself.

A source close to her says that the shooting was not intended for the congresswoman. There was evidence that other vehicles were tampered with in the same area of the shooting.
A guest on Fox News claimed that the incident was caused by the defund of the police position held by Democrats. The founder of Blue Lives Matter NYC told the anchor last week that they need the lawmakers to be victims.

The congressman from the Bronx stood up for his colleague and blasted the right-leaning Fox mouthers.

He was not the only one who was happy that she was safe.

Bush has had her car broken into before. Her car was shot up in 2020. She shared the story on social media.
