How to cancel your Spotify Premium subscription

It is easy, but it is still a paid subscription.

If you are looking to save money on your monthly subscription and don't listen to a lot of music, you might want to consider canceling it. You can pay for multiple plans, starting at $9.99/month, to enjoy the entire music library without ads.

You will need to contact them through the payment page if you use the service from an internet provider. You have to cancel via Apple subscriptions if you pay through an iTunes account.

To cancel on either the app or the browser, you have to click on the "Account" option from your profile photo.

The next page shows all of the subscription plans, with the lowest one at the bottom. They mean the same thing, but instead of "Get Spotify Free," they say "Cancel Spotify Premium." Click on it.

Clicking cancel isn't enough as we know that any subscription service wants us to stay. The next page explains all the drawbacks of the service, including ads every 15 minutes, limited skips, and no downloads. You haven't canceled until you click on the "continue to Cancel" button on the page, and this won't go into effect until your next billing date.

You can fill out the form and email it to breakups@spotify.com or mail it to Sweden. Enjoy the extra cash! There are no other benefits to doing this.
