Wisconsin Badgers hire Baltimore Ravens assistant Bobby Engram to be offensive coordinator, source says

A source told Adam Rittenberg on Saturday that Bobby Engram, the former wide receiver who has been on the Baltimore Ravens coaching staff for the past eight seasons, has been hired as the offensive line coach for the Wisconsin Badgers.

According to a source, the contract to join the coaching staff was approved by the Wisconsin Board of regents.

The development of Mark Andrews, who went from a third-round pick to an NFL first-team All-Pro, was overseen by Engram, who was the Ravens' tight ends coach for the past three seasons. Prior to that, he was on the staff of the University of Pittsburgh.

Dean Engram saw action in five games as a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin. The defensive back had 20 tackles.

Bobby Engram played for the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, and Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League from 1996 to 2009.

The five-year deal was extended by one year. He has a 65-23 record.
