An internal email shows that T-Mobile will fire employees who aren't fully vaccined by April 2nd. Deeanne King, T-Mobile's head of human resources, said that employees who only received one dose will be put on leave.

T-Mobile said in a statement that the offices are accessible only to people who have a digital pass.

The policy applies to corporate employees who occasionally work in the office. Customer service employees won't be put on leave if they don't show proof that they received the first vaccine by February 21st. The company still encourages vaccinations and frequent testing, but technicians and store employees won't be subject to the mandate.

We understand that this is a deeply personal decision for some employees, but we believe that taking this step will put us in the best position to protect our T-Mobile community.

Despite the Supreme Court blocking the vaccine mandate for large employers, T-Mobile is not the first tech company to require vaccinations. If employees don't show proof of vaccine by January 13th, they will face 30 days of administrative leave and six months of paid leave. If employees don't get their vaccine by January 4th, they will be put on leave, while Meta and Apple require proof.
