Less than 2 weeks after being a 50-1 longshot to win NBA Most Valuable Player, the Philadelphia 76ers All-Star is now the favorite.

On January 16 of this year, he was listed at 50-1 and is currently in the midst of a 16-game stretch in which he is averaging 34 points and 10 rebound per game. The big man vaulted Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the last few days.

The fourth-best odds are for the Denver Nuggets All-NBA big man and last season's Most Valuable Player, and the fifth-best is for Ja Morant.

In the first three months of the season, there are five different players who are the favorite.

Kevin Durant was the favorite before he injured his knee, and now he is the favorite again, as Curry and Giannis hold the top spots this month. The sixth-best odds are at +3000.

Last season, he was the favorite before a knee injury ended his season.
