Tom Brady Retiring From NFL After 22 Seasons

Tom Brady is walking away from the game of football after 22 historic seasons.

The 44-year-old 7-time champ is retiring as the league's all-time leader in wins at quarterback, passing attempts and completions, passing yards and passing touchdown.

Brady won 6 Super Bowls with New England. He won his 7th championship with the Buccaneers.

The Rams defeated the Bucs in the playoffs, despite the fact that the team went 13-4 this season.

Brady married Gisele Bundchen in 2009, and this week he mentioned the possibility of hanging it up for his wife and children.

He previously spoke about how he wanted to play until he was 45 years old, but was open about his struggles with being away from family during football season.

Brady said this week that Gisele deserves what she needs from him as a husband and a father.

Brady threw for 84,520 yards and 622 touchdown passes.

Brady's ex-teammate, Julian Edelman, wished the quarterback a happy birthday.
