A man has been found guilty of stalking a tennis player.

The man from Edgware will be sentenced at a later date.

The door camera footage shows Magar leaving notes and cards at the home where she lives with her parents.

In a statement to the court, she said she was afraid of going out alone.

Since all this has happened, I have felt frightened. She told police in a statement that she was very nervous if she went out on her own.

I feel like my freedom has been taken away because of this. I look over my shoulder. I am worried that this could happen again. I don't feel safe in my own home, which is where I should feel safest.

During December last year, Magar visited the home a number of times.

On one occasion, the former Amazon delivery driver left a hand-drawn map to show the tennis player he had walked 23 miles from his house in north-west London to reach her.

He left her a note that said she deserved love.

The reigning US Open champion was named the BBC Sport Personality of the Year in December.
