The main club in Charlotte is closed. The travelers had hoped that the club would be improved, but it isn't. The space will be brought up to fire code in several months.
There wasn't enough club lounge space in Charlotte to start with and the airport only has one other Admirals Club. American had opened a 5th club at the DFW airport and had scaled to 900 flights a day. Charlotte used to have two clubs, but now only one with bottled drinks, packaged snacks and agents to assist with rebookings. The Charlotte terminal is more crowded than Dallas.
The smaller B concourse club is only available for passengers to use while waiting for flights. A representative manages the line outside of the Admirals Club while some members talk about waiting for a flight. Guests will be allowed in as others leave. First serve for our members.

There are two Minute Suites at the airport in Charlotte. Priority Pass cards give you an hour in a minute suite, a place with peace and quiet that promotes you can take your mask off. Pre-booking a space through their app will maximize chances of availability.

American Airlines will leave terminal 2 in March 2020 and begin operations in our new Terminal 1 and Boarding Area B, but Alaska Airlines will not take over the space. The airport would like that for retail. Some of the build-back space for Alaska would beleas[e].

American Airlines opened 15 new gates in the E concourse of the Dallas Fort-Worth airport, which has led to 900 peak daily departures. Charlotte is their second largest hub, and they are growing it to 700 daily departures. There is just not.
