A two-lane bridge collapsed in Pittsburgh early Friday, prompting rescuers to rappel nearly 150 feet (46 meters) while others formed a human chain to help rescue people from a dangling bus.
Hours before President Joe Biden was to visit the city, the bridge collapsed.
Authorities said there were no deaths from the collapse and that they were flying drones to make sure no one was trapped.
The span on Forbes Avenue came down just before 7 a.m.

There were 10 minor injuries and three people were brought to the hospital after the collapse of three or four vehicles. None of the injuries were life threatening.
The site of the collapse was described by Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. John Fetterman.

The deck and superstructure of the city-owned bridge were found to be in poor condition during a September inspection. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the bridge's overall condition is poor, which means the structural elements have deteriorated.
