Sixers fan that was ejected for taunting Los Angeles Lakers star Carmelo Anthony kept calling him a “boy” and yelling “get in the corner boy” and “keeping shooting boy,” league sources tell @YahooSports.

The report was confirmed by Anthony after the game.

Carmelo Anthony confirmed that he was called "boy" by fans in Philadelphia and that line-crossing comments came from two different groups of people.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel told reporters after the game that unacceptable language and unacceptable behavior by fans is the simplest way to put it.

The game was temporarily stopped after 76ers forward Georges Niang committed a personal foul on a Lakers possession with seven minutes left in the game.

Anthony walked in the direction of the fans who were shouting. Anthony and the fans were escorted out by event staff after officials stepped on the court.

The 76ers center got between the two fans to diffuse the situation after a third fan appeared to have words with Anthony.

Less than two minutes after the initial stop, the Lakers inbounded the ball. Anthony was in the room.

The 76ers won the game 105-87.
