It is almost time for the NBA's showcase. The starting and captains for the NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland in February of 2022 are now known.
The captains of the two teams in the All-Star Game will be the Los Angeles Lakers' James and the Brooklyn Nets' Durant. Both players received more fan votes than anyone else in their conferences.
The All-Star reserves, who will be selected by the coaches in both conferences, will be revealed next Thursday. The league first instituted the format of the teams in the summer of 2018.
