The Los Angeles Lakers star will not play in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a groin injury.

James wasn't happy about having to sit out the contest.

🤬🤬🤬🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

James missed time earlier this season with an abdominal strain, but returned to the Lakers lineup for a game against Boston.

The Lakers' leading scorer and rebounder this season is averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 assists and 6.3 boards per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from deep.

James missed a lot of time during the 2020-21 campaign because of injuries, despite being quite durable for most of his career.

While James is out, the Lakers will rely on Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook to lead the way, with those who will likely be asked to take on bigger roles being included.

The Lakers are in a tie for eighth place in the Western Conference. They will need James to be healthy in order to make a run at the NBA Finals.
