Rachel Corsie is a captain for Kansas City.
The deal for the centre-back is Villa's third of the window.
It follows moves to take both England and Manchester City players on loan from the same team.
After moving to the United States in March of last year, Corsie played the early part of the last season on a loan at Villa's local rivals.
She signed a two-and-a-half year deal at Villa and the move is subject to international clearance.
