Amad Diallo: Rangers to sign Manchester United winger on loan for rest of season

Amad Diallo is close to joining Rangers on a loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old moved to Old United in a deal worth around $37m from Atalanta but has made just nine appearances this season.

This move will be good for Diallo, as United believe he will be a part of the club's long-term plans.

After moving to Italy at the age of 10, Diallo joined Atalanta.

The youngest player in the history of the game to score on his debut was 17 years old, and he did it in a 7-1 win over Udinese.

The Ivorian traveled with the Atalanta squad to Lisbon to face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the European Championship.

Papu Gomez likened the player to Lionel Messi after he impressed in training.

There are defenders in the first team that can't stop him. We have to kick him. Before Diallo moved to United, the captain of Atalanta said he plays like Messi.

After scoring his first goal for the club against AC Milan in the same competition, Diallo was handed his Manchester United debut.

The youngster could become a top player after he joined the club, according to Ole Solskjaer.
