On Tuesday, the 2nd anniversary of his sobriety, he decided to celebrate with some takeout, but the original plan was meant to be more symbolic. Drew was supposed to go with his friend to the deli. This was the first place he got a meal after being released from jail, so it meant a lot to him. Unfortunately, he has been under the weather recently, but he still got his matzo ball soup, even though he chose the takeout option. At one point, he was living on the streets because of his drug addiction. He had a lot of run-ins with the law, but he has since cleaned up his act. In July, we reported that in order to celebrate his graduation from a drug program, he chose to go to a deli. This place seems to hold a lot of meaning for him. Weiss is making money doing signings and small appearances. He has been working on standup and has been writing nonstop. Hopefully, we will see him again on the big screen.
