Green Bay Packers quarterback and former Hall of Fame member, Brett Favre, thinks that the Packers will not have Rodgers in their lineup in the year 2022.

I think we may have seen the last of him in Green Bay, he said. It is a gut feeling. He may try something else now.

As for whether Rodgers should play somewhere else, he offered some advice.

If your gut tells you that you want to try something else, then go for it.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Rodgers left the Packers. The veteran quarterback held out until late July last year, asking for a trade, before he and the Packers came to a compromise.

The team agreed to review Rodgers situation after the 2020 season, which is according to the report, which indicates that the team will trade Rodgers if he does not return.

If Rodgers leaves Green Bay, the Packers have already agreed to find a trade for him.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers didn't give any hints as to which way he was leaning earlier in the week.

Rodgers said it would be a lot of intuition and a lot of feel.

I think it is a trust that I will know what to do. You move forward once you make a decision. You don't make a decision until you have certainty. There is a time frame for this because I know that my decision affects a number of other people. I want to be very sensitive to that, so I will make a decision sooner than later.

Rodgers is one of the favorites to win the award for the second year in a row, after throwing for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdown and just four turnovers. The Packers were the top seed in the playoffs and 13-3 in their starts, but they lost to the 49ers on Saturday.

A number of teams would immediately call the Packers if Rodgers moved on. He is one of the league's elite players. A change of scenery might be in order before he hangs up his cleats.
