Las Vegas Raiders CB Nate Hobbs pleads guilty to careless driving charge after DUI charge dropped

The careless driving charge was dropped when it was determined that he was under the legal limit.

The blood toxicological analysis showed that he was under the legal limit for driving under the influence after his arrest.

As a result of falling asleep in the exit lane of a parking garage, Hobbs pleaded guilty to one count of careless driving.

He will pay a $685 fine, complete a victim impact panel and 20 hours of community service as part of his agreement with the district attorney. He faces a 30-day jail sentence if he fails to comply.

The alcohol treatment program provided by the NFL and the players' association will be used to enter Hobbs.

The next court date is March 23.

In 16 games this season, the fifth-round draft pick out of Illinois has 74 tackles, which is fourth on the Raiders.
