A trailer for a new entry in the series was posted on the company's account. The announcement comes almost nine years after the release of the last numbered entry in the series, Crysis 3, which was released on February 19th.
Just hours before the official announcement of the game, Crytek China appeared to confirm the news in a post on BiliBili. According to Eurogamer, the post said that theCrysis 4 project is confirmed, opening a new nano battlefield.
The reputation of requiring a powerful gaming PC to look its best has dominated the legacy of the Crysis trilogy. When it was first released, only the most powerful gaming PCs could run it at maximum settings, and now it can be run on any computer.
There is no information about when we might see the 4th edition of the game, or which platforms it will be released on. It is likely that it will appear on PC, along with current- generation consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
