Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle are back together.

Rapinoe was re-signed to a one-year deal while Lavelle was given a two-year deal.

The terms were not released. Rapinoe and Lavelle were on the U.S. team that won the World Cup. The Tokyo Olympics caused both of them to be away from the Reign. Rapinoe has been with the team since it started. She has a club record for career goals. She had six goals and three assists last season.

Megan joined our club in 2013 already a world-class talent, and over the last decade has done the work on and off the field to transform herself into a global icon who now supersedes the sport.

Her talent and creativity bring to the team, but her confidence and swagger is infectious and makes every player around her better.

Lavelle joined the team in May and played in 12 matches. She had a goal and an assist.

Lu Barnes was re-signed by the Reign to a one-year deal with an option for another year. She was named the NWSL's defender of the year in 2016 and has been with the Reign for three years.

The Reign will play their matches in Seattle this season after playing in Tacoma for three years.
