The National Labor Relations Board says that the Amazon Labor Union is moving forward with unionization efforts at the JFK8 warehouse after reaching a sufficient showing of interest. The specifics and date for the election will be decided after the February 16th hearing. This is the second time that Amazon's warehouse workers have made it to this point in the unionization process.

The fight is just beginning after the ALU said that its petition had been accepted. It later withdrew the request because it didn't have enough signatures, and refiled in December, focusing on the JFK8 warehouse where it held strikes before.

Amazon didn't reply immediately to the request for comment. There is an election scheduled for February 4th at the BHM1 facility in Bessemer, Alabama. The second election was ordered after the National Labor Relations Board ruled that Amazon had interfered with the first election.
