Matthew Stafford doesn't know why former Detroit Lions teammate Ndamukong Suh hates him

If you are not a regular viewer of The Morning After with Kelly Stafford, you are missing out.

The wife of a football player and a cheerleader has a show about her life, including her relationship with her husband, fertility, parenting the couple's four young girls, partying with other famous people and much more. It is an entertaining and honest look into the life of a quarterback.

Kelly talked about the Rams' thrilling 30-27 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Florida to advance to the playoffs.

Kelly was very nervous at Raymond James Stadium. She battled an upset stomach for the second week in a row due to the anxiety, and couldn't eat or drink until nightfall.

Is Matthew Stafford going to the Hall of Fame?

At the 13:15 mark of the episode, she tried to make sense of the yelling from her husband. Stafford and Suh were teammates with the Detroit Lions from 2010 to 2014, with Stafford being the top pick in the 2009 draft. The Lions made the playoffs twice during the five years they were teammates, before Suh left in free agency and signed with Miami.

During the first quarter of Sunday's game, both Stafford and Suh fell to the ground after Suh pressured him on a pass play that fell incomplete. In an attempt to untangle himself, Stafford tried to push his leg into Suh, but he was reprimanded by the Detroit defensive tackle, who pointed at Stafford and yelled an expletive.

As he announced a 15-yard penalty for taunting, Suh asked the referee "You see he kicked me?"

I told you so, Dan Orlovsky to Lions fans who doubted Matthew Stafford.

Kelly thought it was a small deal until she saw the replay. She said people were asking her about the play on social media.

Not really sure why Matthew and Suh don't like each other. In the past couple years, it has become weird, like Suh will come out in the media and stay, whatever, it doesn't phase Matthew, it is what it is.

I see him in his face. I look at the replay in the suite and I see that he is in Matthew's face. If I was Matthew, I would be terrified because you are a monster and you could really do some harm.

When I saw that, I was like, "Oh F you Suh." I have no idea what triggered that.

Matthew was dishonest when I asked him about it last night. I did not know who tackled me. I remember getting put to the ground and someone on me trying to get to the next play, and then Suh was in my face telling me he was going to (expletive) me up. I don't understand, he's like, "who's gonna understand it, whatever, it doesn't matter."

Bucs' Ndamukong Suh exchanges words with Rams' Matthew Stafford after a play in the first quarter Sunday.

It angered me. To stand up and tell someone that you are going to fight with them after you spent a long time together in an organization. Matthew said he didn't know, that he didn't like me. When I asked him about it, he giggled and said he had no idea what the guy was doing. I don't know why he's angry at me.

She said that players should not be afraid of cheap shots. They grow, change and make mistakes.

She said she was trying to give some grace and not get upset about the man threatening her husband. What are you doing? Matthew could not care less about the water under the bridge.

The best way to say "F you" to someone without actually saying it is to throw a dime in their face. Your kicker kicks a game-winning field goal after you throw it right as he hits you. Matthew has done well against all-out attacks all year, so it was an interesting call. He waited until he could see that it was coming and then launched it right into his face. You have to shut them down with your play. You do not have to say anything. You don't have to do anything. Matthew could care less, but I loved watching him throw the ball.

I feel like he is the only player in the league who dislikes Matthew and we don't know why. We don't know why. He can dislike him for a reason. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will not say anything else. I wish he was the best. His family is very kind. But come on dude, you were teammates at one point. That really bothered me. I don't get it, it hurts me in a way. Maybe we will figure it out, maybe there is a reason and he will let us know, but Matthew doesn't seem to care. It's me, of course.

If the Rams win against San Francisco on Sunday, they will play the winner of Kansas City and Cincinnati in the Super Bowl. Three years ago, Los Angeles lost in the Super Bowl due to poor quarterback play from Jared Goff. One year ago, the Rams traded Goff to the Lions along with two first-round picks and a third-round pick.

Kelly, whose brother Chad played in the NFL and is now the receivers coach for the Buffalo Bills, said her brother compares Bills quarterback Josh Allen to Stafford because of his big arm, talent and demeanor.

She agreed with those who argued against the overtime rules of the NFL. Buffalo lost to Kansas City in overtime.
