The New Orleans Saints were hurt more by that game than the Rams were because it kept the Saints out of the playoffs and gave the San Francisco 49ers a wild-card spot.
Andrew Siciliano of the NFL Network noted that there may have been some sarcasm involved. We are rooting against the Rams because of that.
Making the playoffs would have given the Saints more time to think about their future without their head coach.
He leaves the Saints after 15 years with a record of 152-89 and one Super Bowl ring.
Maybe one grudge against the Rams.
