Dez Bryant criticized Dak after the 49ers loss, now big brother Tad Prescott is stepping in for the save

Former teammates Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott have a beef.

Ever since former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant left the team, he has been a harsh critic of the onfield product produced by Jerry Jones. Bryant is often directing his criticism of the Cowboys quarterback on his social media accounts. It sometimes feels like Bryant has an ax to grind with the QB of America because of their lack of chemistry. Bryant was at it again after Dallas failed, but Tad jumped in on his brother's behalf this time.

I'm pretty sure Tad and Dak have had a lot of conversations about Bryant's social media comments. Bryant believes that he is giving his opinion of the situation in Big D, having once played in the same uniform with Dak. It may come off as too much to the outside world, all the advice that Dez is trying to give to Prescott on a public platform. It feels like a personal attack on many Cowboys fans when he compares past Cowboys QBs.

Bryant's strongest argument probably wasn't Dragging Tony Romo into the conversation, but he was the quarterback who had his most success with, so I get that. If you want to get advice from a successful former Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman would be a better example. Aikman would be the one to talk to. Troy led Dallas to three Super Bowl victories in four years and was one of the most accurate quarterbacks of his era. The Cowboys quarterback wants to model his game after that.

What needs to happen is that Dez and Dak get together over the phone and work out their differences. Everybody shares their opinions on social media, no matter how misguided they are. It feels like Bryant is still upset about his release from the team. Bryant has grown up in the state of Texas, so that might sting a lot. It's time to let it all go and push it to the side. It didn't work out as they hoped, but it's time to move on.
