The next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys should be decided by basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O' Neal.

O' Neal offered some advice to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

I am putting this out right now. The Cowboys have a new head coach. Jerry Jones received a message from Deion Sanders, who wants to be the next Cowboys coach.

You want the Dallas to be loud. Deion should join the fold. Those players will be held accountable by Deion. The next Cowboys coach should be Deion. Put it out on the internet. OnlyFans it, TikTok it, and post it on social media.

The Dallas Cowboys had a 12-5 season that saw them win the NFC East, but they lost in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys haven't advanced past the divisional round of the playoffs since 1995.

Mike McCarthy will be the head coach of the Cowboys for a third year in a row, but there is some question as to whether he will be back.

McCarthy was not endorsed by Jones as the head coach moving forward.

If Jones fires McCarthy, it would be interesting to see who he would pick.

One of the greatest defensive backs in the history of the National Football League is considered by many to be the man of the century, Deion Sanders. He helped lead the Cowboys to their most recent Super Bowl win in 1995.

He is the head coach of Jackson State, a college football program in the Football Championship Series.

He spent four years as a high school head coach before he was hired by Jackson State.

After leading Jackson State to a 4-3 record in his first season, the Tigers went 11-2 in his second. They landed some big-name recruits, beating out top-flight programs in the process.

It's fair to wonder if he could do the same thing in Dallas despite not having any experience in college or the NFL.

Sean Payton, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints, was the Cowboys assistant head coach from 2003 to 2005 and is a potential replacement for McCarthy.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Sunday that the door could be open for Sean Payton to become the Dallas Cowboys head coach in 2022, even though he has yet to commit to coaching the Saints in that year.
