Neil Young Demands Spotify Pull His Music Over Joe Rogan Covid Vaccine ‘Fake Information’

According to an open letter Neil Young sent to his management and record label, he demanded that his music be removed from the platform because of the misinformation pushed by Joe Rogan.

Young said in the letter that Rogan was a key source of fake information about vaccines.

The musician said that Rogan's show is the world's largest and has tremendous influence on the platform.

The musician wrote that they can have Rogan or Young.

Forbes did not get a response from Rogan and Spotify.

The Joe Rogan Experience has come under fire for promoting racists and uncritically pushing misinformation. Hundreds of doctors and scientists petitioned Spotify to crack down on the show and enforce a misinformation policy earlier this year after it hosted scientist Robert Malone, who groundlessly asserted world leaders had hypnotised the public into supporting vaccines and that hospitals received financial incentives to falsely diagnose deaths as being caused by Covid Rogan tested positive for Covid-19 last year after dismissing vaccines and downplaying the impact of the Pandemic.
