A new feature on the social media platform will allow users to post to a limited number of close friends in a parallel timeline.
The feature was previously calledTrusted Friends and will allow users to limit their audience to no more than 150 people.
If you decide to join your Flock, you can see a label beneath thetweet that says: "You can see this because the author has added you to their Flock."
#Twitter continues to work on Twitter Flock by adding an explanation of how it works 👀ℹ️ You can choose up to 150 people to include in your Twitter Flock 👥

Before a person sends a message, they will be shown an option to choose their intended audience, which will allow them to post it to all of their followers. It is similar to Communities, a feature that allows people to share discussions on a specific topic.
It is not clear when the feature will go live for all users, but it has been in the works for at least July of last year. It shouldn't be confused withFleets, the ephemeral tweet option that was designed to compete with social media. The feature was canned less than a year after it was launched.
