There is a huge haul of science experiments on board of the latest cargo mission from SpaceX.

The cargo ship splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean today. It is off the coast of Florida near Panama City.

The 24th mission to the space station was completed with the splashdown of the Dragon.

A "cytoskeleton" that studies cell signaling in humans is one of the science returned by the cargo ship. The experiments will be delivered to scientists at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, according to the statement.

After just over a month in space, the crew of the space station were able to receive fresh food and supplies from Earth.

The splashdown was initially planned for the early hours of Monday morning local time, but two days of bad weather at potential splashdown locations in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast prevented the departure at first.
The undoing took place on Sunday. It was streamed by NASA TV.

"Expedition 66 wishes the Dragon well on its return," Tom Marshburn radioed Mission Control from the station, shortly after the undocking. I would like to congratulate Houston and SpaceX. Can't wait to see what happens.

NASA did not provide any coverage of the splashdown. The target location was close enough to the Kennedy Space Center to quickly return science experiments that need to be kept refrigerated.
