After Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Rob Gronkowski said that he would take some time to make a decision on his future.

On Monday, he appeared to be open to returning next season. He ended his thank-you message with "Year 12???"

Matt Gay kicked a 30-yard field goal as time expired to give Los Angeles a win and eliminate Tampa Bay from the playoffs. The second-half comeback was impressive by the Buccaneers.

He had four catches for 85 yards. He summed up his 11th season by writing, "What a ride it's been." I'm grateful for the opportunity to play another year. I would like to thank my teammates. We will never forget the sweat and memories we made. Thanks to the #Krewe too.

In 12 games, he had 55 catches for 802 yards and six touchdown. He missed time because of injuries. His 89 targets were third on the team. It was his first 800 receiving yards since he joined the New England patriots.

Tom Brady is expected to make a decision on his future this year. The 44-year-old is undecided about playing next season and will take some time to make a decision.

He said Monday that he won't be tied to Brady's decision.

"I'm really going to do what's best for myself in terms of the football world," he said. It will be a decision based on where I am in a couple weeks.
