The Green Bay Packers head coach wants to run his offense again in 2022.

During Monday's end-of-season press conference, Matt LaFleur spoke to reporters and said that everyone in the front office would like to have Rodgers back at quarterback.

"We're all on the same page here," he said.

The Packers' future with Rodgers is not a new topic since it was a main topic in the NFL before the campaign.

He was unsure if he would play for the Packers, report to training camp or even retire, until he returned to the only team he has ever played for. He voiced his frustration about how the front office handled certain decisions and his lack of a long-term commitment from the team.

While he continued to make waves off the field by misleading people about his vaccination status, there was no questioning his ability to do it.

The reigning league's Most Valuable Player completed a league-leading 68.9 percent of his passes for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdown and four interceptions, and led the Packers to a 13-4 record and the top seed in the playoffs.

He and the Packers lost to the 49ers in the playoffs for the second time in his career, but he failed to differentiate himself from the likes of Nick Foles and Jimmy Garoppolo.

He told reporters after the loss that he doesn't want to be part of a rebuild if he's going to keep playing.

The Green Bay Packers are projected to be over the salary cap this year, even before deciding what to do with wide receiver Davante Adams. The ceiling of the team would change if Rodgers were to sign a new contract.

There is no plan for a rebuild.

It will give Rodgers something to think about this summer, but the organization wants him back.
