Burton will transfer to Alabama from Georgia.

The Dawgs just beat the Tide in the national championship game, but Burton is changing sides after entering the transfer portal on Wednesday. Burton was second on the team in receiving yards with 497 and was second in receiving touchdown with five.

Burton chose Georgia over offers from LSU, Alabama, Arizona State, Oregon and others.

He is one of eight players who will transfer out of Georgia in January, along with quarterback JT Daniels. Cornerback Ameer Speed is going to Michigan State, corner Jalen Kimber is going to Florida, receiver Latavious Brini is going to Arkansas, and Jaylen Johnson is going to East Carolina.
