The NBA suspended Allen for one game after he made a foul on the Chicago Bulls guard.

The Bucks disagreed with the suspension. We support him and look forward to him rejoining the team for Friday's game.

The foul occurred midway through the third quarter of the home win over the Bulls.

Allen collided with the guard midair when he leaped to defend the shot. The Bull was falling to the ground when he hit Caruso's head with his left hand.

Allen was ejected. Caruso finished the game despite being shaken up. The Bulls said he would be out six to eight weeks with a fractured wrist.

During his time at Duke, Allen tripped three players on three separate occasions. He was suspended for one game.

Bulls head coach Billy Donovan mentioned Allen's past when talking to reporters after the game.

This is not the usual thing for Donovan to single out a player.

The NBA was reviewing the play the next day, according to a report byVincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports. K.C. Johnson of Yahoo Sports gave more information.

The incident is still being reviewed by the league. The early indications were that Allen would be the only punishment. Any injury suffered by the offended player is taken into account by the league. Stay up to date.

The NBA decided that further punishment was necessary for the four-year NBA veteran, who has averaged 11.8 points and 3.4 rebound per game this year.

Allen sat out the win over the Kings with a hip injury. The next game is at Cleveland.
